A delicious healthy dessert, these pears can be served with low fat yoghurt, custard or low fat ice cream, and are delicious with muesli the next day.

Ingredients
2 pears choose from Corella, Red Sensation, Packhams, Beurré Bosc
1 orange (zest of half the orange and juice of the whole fruit)
¼ cup honey
1 tbsp brown sugar

![]() Corbis Photos Method Preheat oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Peel the pears but leave the stems intact, then cut the base off (very minimally) to enable them to stand upright. Mix together the orange juice, honey, zest, and brown sugar. Place the pears in a baking dish and drizzle with the honey syrup. Bake until golden (about 20-25 minutes) and serve with dollops of natural or sheeps milk yoghurt. Makes 2 servings |
