Safflower Oil
Safflower oil is a bland, flavourless, light-coloured oil well-suited to salad dressings and mayonnaise. It is high in polyunsaturated linoleic fatty acids
(Omega 6). Unrefined safflower oil should not be used for cooking as the heat causes structural changes to the oil producing health damaging trans fats.

Note: although low in salicylates, safflower oil may contain preservatives that mimic salicylate reactions, so are best avoided, or bought from a health food store.
